Where to start…. By far the best sourdough loaf for miles around. I saw Mrs Duxbury’s bakes on insta and was delighted to find out that she was only 10 mins away from me!
The loaf was straight out of the oven when I collected it, so had a torturous 90min wait before we could slice it…. But it was totally worth the wait. So good with lashings of proper butter. We’ll be making a regular order- it’s so great to have such fantastic homemade bread on our doorstep.

Absolutely the best sourdough we have ever tasted. Lovely and crunchy on the outside and fluffy and soft inside. Even better it was still warm when we collected it. Consequently it didn’t last very long! It was so delicious. Mrs Duxbury is so helpful, really easy to order and communication is excellent. Highly recommend Mrs Duxbury’s bakes everything she makes is really yummy!
The Sourdough I have bought has been the best sourdough loaf I have ever purchased.
I buy two large loads at a time and slice and freeze them as there is only me and my husband.
Amazing bread , if only all sourdough was as good as this . Can’t wait to try cinnamon buns
